Year 10 visit Chelmsford

Recently the year 10 geographers completed their urban fieldwork investigations in Chelmsford.

In four separate areas of the town centre they surveyed land use, environmental quality and pedestrian flows. They also completed a large number of questionnaires with the local people.

The students enjoyed the good weather and collected valuable data during the day. They will now present and analyse their data and formulate a conclusion to the main enquiry question which was, "How has the re-branding of Bond St, Chelmsford influenced the perceptions of place held by visitors and residents?"

Mr. J Callender, Head of School said “Our students were a credit to the school on this visit and gained a valuable insight into a local city development.”
