BCHS appoint Head Boy and Head Girl for 2018-2019

A new Head Boy and Head Girl have been appointed as well as their deputies.  They will start their duties now as the outgoing holders concentrate on their examinations.

There was a gruelling process for the prospective candidates.  They had to submit a letter of application; face an interview with a student panel (representatives from Student Parliament made up of students from years 7 to 10); make a presentation about what they would bring to the role and finally an interview with the staff panel made up of a governor, sixth form leaders and members of the senior leadership team.  All students were very impressive and professional in their approach.

Our Head Boy is Owen Chesney, Head Girl is Precious Omogiate-Igiebor and their deputies are Oscar Pace and Ella Miller.

Mr. J. Callender, Head of School said “The process was extremely taxing for all the students involved and we are proud of everyone of them that applied.  I would like to publically congratulate Owen and Precious in their successful appointment and staff are looking forward to working with them both, their successful deputies and team in leading the school forwards.”
