Year 10 Boys football team reach District Final

After successes in futsal, the Essex Cup and reaching the last 32 of the ESFA National competition, Brentwood County High School Year 10 Boys football team have made another final this year. Typically we meet St Martin's in the District final however, Brentwood CHS now face Gt. Baddow Sports College from Chelmsford, (Date TBC) who beat St. Martin's in their Semi-final.

Brentwood CHS have beaten William de Ferrers 7-1 in the first round, goals from Archie Tamplin (2), Oli Barry-Steele, Billy Chillcott (2) and Nathan Joseph. In the quarter final Brentwood faced King Edward Grammar school (KEGS - Chelmsford) winning 5-1 goals from Billy Chillcott (2), Josh Rodwell, Kayden Chambers and Imoh Iteimoh.

The Semi-final saw Brentwood face local rivals Anglo-European School in a tough game that saw Brentwood take the lead through Joel Bevan, but Anglo equalized with a well worked goal. Brentwood took the lead again through Anglo showed character to equalize and then take a 3-2 lead. Brentwood managed to level through Billy Chillcott taking the game into extra time. Zak Hale managed to squeeze in a winner for County High. 

A large number of these boys are also involved with the School's Easter football trip to Holland. Brentwood CHS returning to Holland after tours to Germany, Italy and Spain (Madrid and Barcelona) in recent years.
