Remembrance Day

The whole school stopped to remember our fallen service men and women at our annual remembrance observance.

Miss Monk and Mr Mitchell also took a group of our young people to lay down a wreath on the war memorial in Brentwood at the Royal British Legion's service.

The memorial service consisted of an address from the local vicar, a prayer remembering those who fought for our country and a poem which was ready by a veteran soldier.

School by school the wreaths were laid in remembrance.  The last post was played and Basit-Ali Khan, Head Boy, represented BCHS and laid our wreath for us.  The students spoke of how it was an honour and a priviledge to be chosen to represent our school.

Our children have once again made us all very proud today, with the faultless respect they have shown.
