Community Day 2017

Our fourth community day was a great success and a big thank you goes to all the students and staff, in particular Karen Marshall and her team who organised such an enjoyable day.  Even the weather cooperated!

Students went off to different venues from primary schools to care homes to parks and our school wasn't forgotten either as work parties took place around the school site.  Activities ranged from weeding and gardening, washing play equipment to working with residents.

We would also like to thank those companies who supported us by supplying equipment - Travis Perkins, Essex Hire, Halfords, Wickes and Beresfords, without their help many activities would not have been possible.

Students helping in Marks and Spencer raised a fantastic £389.71 for Guide dogs for the Blind.  Our car washers raised £160 for Evelina Hospital London Children's Hospital.  Well done to you all.
