Come and have your car washed

On Friday 7th July at school there will be a team of students waiting to wash the cars of our community and voluntary donations will be collected in aid of Evelina Hospital London Children's Hospital.  Drivers can bring their cars along for a good wash between     10  am and 2 pm.

This is our fourth community day and other teams of students and staff wil be out and about working at care homes, sheltered housing, parks, churches, youth groups, sports clubs, primary schools and nurseries to name a few.  They will be working on tidying ujp, decorating, mending, digging, teaching and many more such activities to help our local community.

This day is another part of our push to make sure that Brentwood County High School is at the heart of our local community.  For our young people it is a chance to have a widening of their education by taking part in community projects for the day.  We all benefit from the work of so many groups and people in our community, and as a school we should ensure that we enable our young people to experience volunteering if they not already do so, or to widen their experience of volunteering in the community for those who already do so.
