Year 10 student Rubi

Posted on: 23rd Jun

On Sunday 23rd June, Rubi, along with her Dad, Brentwood posties and some of their families headed off on quite literally a marathon walk of 26 miles. They walked from Brentwood post office to Southend sea front in memory of a lovely postman, Nigel Dudley, who sadly passed away from cancer, and Rubi's dear friend Freddie Felton, a St. Martins pupil,  who tragically passed away in his sleep 4 months ago. She finished the last couple of miles with a sprained ankle, but was determined to complete it. So far the just giving page is around £1300, and rising, and Rubi has her own sponsorship form still to collect from teachers and friends, so there’s more to add! We are super proud of her! I’m enclosing some pictures of her on the walk, and the just giving page is
