Year 7
Students are taught in two equal populations, Galileo (G) and Marconi (M), which are divided into three pathways.  The most able 30% (G1 and M1), the majority 60% (G2,3 and M2,3,4) and those in need of additional support 10% (G4).   Faculties will set students in accordance to their ability in their area at the beginning of the Autumn Term.   Students in G4 will be disapplied from Modern Languages and will have additional lessons in core subjects. It is always possible for students to move between sets in all subjects, and there are regular reviews of which classes students are in.

Year 8
