Sport Diploma - changing to BTEC Sport Single

This BTEC is a double option which will be delivered over 2 years. This option is equivalent to two A levels. The course involves both theory and practical elements.

This option will consist of 9 units; Anatomy and Physiology, Professional Development in the Sports Industry, Practical Sports Performance, Fitness Training and Programming for Health, Sport and Well-being, Sports Leadership, Coaching for Performance, Sports Psychology, Investigating Business in Sport and Active Leisure and Acquiring Skill in Sport.

This is all assessed via a portfolio of work, external assessments and an exam. Two units will be externally assessed in the form of a controlled assessment and one unit will be externally assessed through a written exam.
